Water Element The Children of Aidon are a curious and contradictory lot. They are committed pacifists... except for when there's fighting to be done. They are absolutely devoted to their goddess... except for when it's inconvenient. They are, in general, the biggest pack of hippies one might ever see... unless one decides to take a closer look.
Much like fire elementalists, Andrians are prone to change. Unlike fire elementalists, theirs is a slow, gradually shifting change, one that might not be detected unless under close observation; a Diosan will be your ally to death, an Ercuvian will remain on your side as long as it benefits him, a Valanthian will always aid the enemy of his enemy, and a Dzanatori will follow what he sees to be the best path, but Water Elementalists follow their own views, and are surprisingly reticent about divulging them.
Aidonites are private, secretive, and naturally inquisitive; the three combine to form decades-long intrigues that even the Machiavellian mechinations of the Dragina Empire are hard-pressed to top. It is almost impossible to control a water elementalist; once one is committed to a battle, they will abandon armed resistance as soon as their enemy's superiority is clear, wait for a few days, and then have their slightly-relaxed foe's spine decorated with a preferably poisoned blade.
Water sorcererors' control of their element ranges from limited weather control to wave-witchery to masterful healing to the discipline all forget in times of peace, but are painfully reminded of in times of war. Mastery of ice magic is difficult to attain without painful repercussions on the body, but when the air is filled with razor-sharp shards of ice that pierce stone, metal, and flesh with equal ease, the last thing anyone is worried about is the toll it took on the sorceror to summon them.
Aidon: Queen of Water Aidon is as complacent, wise, and beautiful as her element. The other gods frequently mistake this for weakness, conveneintly forgetting even the form of her temple; a gigantic palace of coral magically given life and loyalty. Also, it was given the destructive rage of the waterfall, the cold deadliness of ice... Aidon is far more powerful then she lets on. She prefers being seen that way.
