The Second Scroll of Primus

As the First World ended the Dragons began to stay less and less with Those Who Are, and favored the company of That Which Is. Finally Primus, That Which Is, told the Dragons to deliver Thought to the Tersids. The Dragons did not begrudge Primus, though they knew this would end in the loss of their servants, for the Tersid were loyal and the Dragons would see them free as well. So they Thought upon how to complete this task, until Primus delivered a solution.

Primus gave the Dragons a great crystalline stone. It was in the shape of a large egg, and would tower above the Tersids. Inside the crystal were three Runes of a strange and shining metal, which seemed to contain the depths of the stars within it. The Dragons looked upon these Runes and saw the power of them. They praised Primus and took the gift of Thought to their servants. Several Dragons were charged with moving throughout the World to find every last one of them, and gather them in a great plain.

When they were all gathered, the Dragons returned from Primus and set the crystal among them. The Tersids gazed upon it with wonder, the Thoughts of Primus carried out from the runes to all gathered. Sparks of intelligence blazed to life in the minds of the Tersids as they gazed upon the first Rune. In this honor the first Rune is Kzah'arrduh, Intelligence. Kzah'arrduh is also a representation of justice and truth, as logic and intelligence are untainted by emotion.

The Dragons rejoiced as they felt the minds of the Tersids blossom, opening to though and reason. As the Tersids looked upon the second Rune they felt understanding and comprehension. In this honor the second Rune is Vrsa, Wisdom. Vrsa also embodies emotion, since wisdom comes from experience and emotion. Vrsa is the balance of Kzah'arrduh, the split between straight logic and emotional understanding.

Tears flowed down the faces of the Tersids, tears of joy at these revelations, tears of sorrow as many grasped that this would mean parting with their masters, the Dragons. Finally the Tersids viewed the last Rune, and they felt a great swell of power through them as they became connected to the Thoughts of Primus. In this honor the third Rune is Kr'zah, Magic. This gave the Tersids the ability to touch the Thoughts of Primus and affect them as the Dragons had, though not with such power.

The Dragons stood by as the Thoughts of Primus reached out to the Tersids in all facets, completing the connection that Primus had sent them to make. They saw the blooms and flowers as Intelligence and Wisdom spread, and knew the surge as the Tersids felt the touch of Magic. Content, the Dragons lifted away, and went back to Primus to tell him of their success. Primus all ready knew and awaited their return. He announced that he would leave the First World for now, and create a place for Himself only. The Dragons would be left to rule, and the task of freeing the Tersids from slavery had been the final test of their loyalty.

Primus left, and the Dragons followed to help establish his new Place before they returned, though oft they visited Primus. This caused All That Is to be fractured to create the Realms of today. The Dragons returned to their kingdoms and cities, and with the Tersids gone they drew in new servants, creatures of all sorts. The Tersids, being connected to Magic, felt All That Is was divided. They knew this would only make things worse in this new Second World, as the Thoughts of Primus were filtered through other Realms as they came to the World. So the Tersids retreated below the Earth. They built great cities to honor Primus, and the crystal they lost among the Realms as All That Is split. So came about the Second World.
