The Human Uprising
For many long years the Human race remained subjugate to the powerful Draginan Imperium Empire. Science, mathematics and prosperity ruled the half-dragon race while Humankind, considered lesser creatures, were enslaved and put to toil in the fields and mines. Though not so lowly as those deemed the Abhor, Humanity indeed was a pitiful race.
Then there came the chance of their salvation as the Draginan dynasty fell to its knees with the death of the fourth emperor. Nine great clans formed and began to war endlessly for power over the world. Humans remained in their caste as laborers to the Dragina during this period, but once but the war broke and the nine tribes lay decimated and broken, the clever creatures seized the moment.
With the smoldering remnants of what was once a great power upon the world strewn about them, Humans rose up with what weapons they could find and began to pull the glory of the Dragina to the ground. It is said the first spark of the uprising was in a rather small Draginan city somewhere near what is today called Boldragoth on the isles of Deisach. When a wealthy Draginan overlord struck a man down in the city street for merely stepping in his path, the man’s wife stabbed the Dragina viciously and repeatedly. The resulting chaos was the first step. The tides of revolution tore the Dragina from their power and in its place would rise a new greatness: The greatness of Man.
