Earth Element Dio's people are known the world across as a little dim, a little musclebound, and more than a little honorbound. The first is a false generalization... while it is true that most Earth Elementalists are slow in speech and in thought, this is just as true for any other population. The second is possibly more accurate; the kingdoms of Deisach are founded on solid stone, solid earth, and solid men, and your average Diosan is most likely stronger than your average, at random, Aidonite. The last, however, is completely accurate. Dio's priesthood invented the concept of honor, and his people's society is a complex network of mutual bonds; a serf feeds his lord in return for protection, a knight fights his wars beholden to both his master and those he defends, a cleric is at once beholden to all people and to only Dio himself, and so on and so on in an endless, elegant dance guaranteed to provide countless honor-bound vendettas and countless honor-bound wars and countless honor-bound deaths whenever a single misstep is made.
Perhaps the Diosan reputation for dimness is more deserved than earlier stated.
On the sorcerous front, an Earth elementalist can choose from several classes of magic; stone, steel, nature, and even the rare power of metamagic, based on their ability to conjure the form of one of the elemental crystals for a fraction of a second at a time.
Dio: God of the Earth
Dio is calm, patient, and unbelievably powerful, just as his domain. His temple lies deep beneath the earth, where he sits and plans the fate of his followers. The only place that the God of the Stone Arm cannot reach is and always has been the realm of his brother Volkain, and it is Volkain who Dio is in a constant state of war with.
