Casino and Entertainment Airships
Practically non-existent anywhere else than the largest cities; Casino/Entertainment airships usually are considered more of novelty items than actual modes of transportation. They often are very large and act as gambling houses, theatres, restaurants, bars, brothels, ballroom-banquet halls, and/or hotels for the elite.
They hold close resemblance to the large cruise ships that float higher in the air; but unlike cruise ships they are usually anchored to the ground by an array of ropes, anchors, and braces. They usually float dangerously close to the ground for accessibility, and always seem to miss the city skylines by thirty feet.
They almost never move; and even if they tried, they'd usually move very slowly. This is because they often are not designed with effective propulsion systems. Thus making them floating ducks in any other situation outside of entertainment.
The crew on board usually consists of a large standard airship crew that maintains safe floatation, entertainers, backstage hands, cooks, card dealers, bookies; and depending on the airship, an assortment of different mages.
Boarding a casino/entertainment airship varies with design. Usually there's either; a smaller shuttle airship that goes back and forth between the ground and the docking bay, rope ladders, a pulley elevator system, and/or an actual bridge/stairway from the ground.
Since there are so few of these Entertainment Airships floating around, and they differ from each other greatly; there is no form of truly categorizing these airships in detail. But there are three main types; the casino, the large amphitheatre, and the "other."
Also depending on the owner, the usage of the ship, and the location. Each ship is suited solely for that location and entertainment purpose.
