What do people think of when they hear the word “beauty”? Some would give reference to Goddess Falls, one of the most notably beautiful landmarks in all of Fou Lu. Aidonites, instead of mentioning a creation of their Goddess, would readily answer with “The Goddess of Water, shaped of pure radiance”, or “Aidon, of course, the blessed giver of life”, or sometimes even “The Raging Tempest of the Sea.” And this is all true, in fact, even more so than they know.

Aidon’s very appearance defines beauty, her hair being one of her most fantastic assets. It flows about her figure as if it were ever-rippling waters brushing her flesh with gentle kisses. This reflects on her clothing, as well, always moving, always elegant. It’s as if she breathes a life into the inanimate fabrics, causing them to act as a river of silken awe. There is also inner beauty which all Aidonites practice, as they and Aidon alike believe in garnering these aspects highly.

Her placid nature exceeds all others, remaining a peaceful demeanor. With the world she attempts to keep the peace, and prevents a section of death and destruction from ever coming about. In the war with Dio and Volkain, she forced the waters to flood the battlefield and prevent some of the larger attack forces from heading into battle. The reason for this, is that Aidon views the world as an elaborate painting, and she saw Dio and Volkain as painting over this tapestry, so she took it upon herself to “heal the land” in a manner of speaking. And so, she took her brush to whisk waves and the oceans across the land, and cured the tears in the world.

Aidon, while a peaceful Goddess by nature, is sometimes goaded on by her brothers Dio and Mercu. They occasionally do something to get on her bad side and bring about one dangerous beast in their sister. This can result in everything from tidal waves erupting over the lands, to a whirlpool opening up somewhere in the ocean, commonly near a ship carrying some high-ranked person in either Dio’s or Mercu’s religions, and swallowing the vessel in the span of minutes.

She stresses, in the teachings of Aidonism, spiritual clarity through several ideals, to maintain a peaceful center and shun the pretenses of vanity, not to focus so much on the beauty, rather than the being. This is what every Aidonite strives to personify; ultimate beauty, inside and out. This can only be reached by intense spiritual and mental cleansing, which is a good reason for an Aidonite to undergo a pilgrimage, to meditate and purge the spirit of selfish ideals, no matter what.
